Player 15 Group is the sports and entertainment organization that operates the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns, and Mortgage Matchup Center. This role is a strong fit for an organized and proactive coordinator who can support part-time team member scheduling and related operations across a busy, event-driven environment. You will help keep staffing, communication, and administrative processes running smoothly while contributing to broader department priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and communication for more than 500 arena part-time team members across Guest Services, Traffic Support, and Security.
- Manage monthly schedules for team members and review weekly time approvals with an emphasis on consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with People & Culture to help coordinate hiring events and onboarding activities.
- Respond to team member questions about uniforms, training, account access, schedules, and payroll-related concerns.
- Prepare regular staffing reports and share insights or recommendations with leadership.
- Compile event cost summaries and support the event settlement process.
- Help track, organize, and distribute uniforms.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Skills and experience
- Strong planning, organization, and administrative capability.
- Clear verbal and written communication for phone, email, and face-to-face interaction.
- Genuine interest in team member engagement and high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently while balancing scheduling and admin work within an event-based calendar.
- Willingness to work a non-standard schedule, including some evenings and weekends, depending on event and team needs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or guest services role.
- Preferred: prior exposure to ABI or similar scheduling platforms.
- Preferred: experience preparing reports and analyzing data.
