Role Overview

The Hostess serves as the first point of contact for diners and sets the tone for the entire guest experience. This role focuses on welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, coordinating seating and reservations, and ensuring a smooth arrival experience. The position requires polished guest interaction, strong attention to detail, and close coordination with restaurant and culinary teams to maintain an elevated dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will greet guests graciously, oversee reservations and seating arrangements, and manage the flow of arrivals with accuracy. You will accompany guests to their tables, respond to questions and special requests, and stay informed about restaurant timings, promotions, and events. The role also involves handling waitlists and feedback professionally, keeping the reception and hostess station tidy and presentable, supporting reservation-related administration, and maintaining a high standard of grooming, discretion, and professionalism at all times.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings prior experience in a Hostess, Guest Relations, or Food & Beverage position, preferably in luxury hospitality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a polished appearance, and a natural warm presence are essential. You should be highly organized, comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a busy environment, and able to manage reservations, guest flow, and special requests calmly and accurately. Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer tools is an advantage. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are a plus. The role also calls for flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, along with a collaborative attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
