Lead Bartender

Role Overview

This position is for a Bar Lead / Head Mixologist at Yaar, a social bar concept housed within Zostel Morjim in Goa. The venue focuses on creating connections through its "Ek Drink, Ek Dost" idea, where drinks and social interaction come together as part of the guest experience. The role calls for someone who can take charge of the bar program and shape it with a creative, community-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refresh, and refine the signature cocktail menu.
• Oversee day-to-day bar operations, including stock control, recipe costing, and vendor coordination.
• Guide, train, and supervise a small team of bartenders.
• Plan and support theme nights along with other event-based bar activities.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and compliance across every shift.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of bartending experience, including work in a lead role.
• Solid command over both classic cocktails and original signature drinks.
• Practical knowledge of inventory management and costing.
• Must already be based in Goa or be open to relocating there.
