Role overview

Merlin Entertainments is hiring a Linen Porter to support housekeeping operations at Alton Towers Resort. This position suits someone who is well organised, careful with details, and committed to helping create a smooth and enjoyable stay for guests across the resort hotels.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Stoke-on-Trent area. The schedule is expected to include weekends and bank holidays. Candidates who can work five days each week are preferred, although applicants with less availability are still welcome to apply.

A clean UK driving licence is required for this position.

Key duties

• Monitor linen supplies and keep stock at the right level for day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate closely with the housekeeping team, hotel porters, and room attendants.
• Ensure presentation standards remain high and that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist with stock counts, including linen used for the waterpark.
• Stay informed about resort activities so guest service can be supported effectively.

Pay

Hourly pay is stated at GBP 8.00 to GBP 12.71.
