Role Overview
This position is for a Project Manager focused on product implementation, based on-site in Abu Dhabi. The role sits within a pioneering AI company that develops solutions for regulated sectors such as healthcare, insurance, government, and financial services.
The business behind the product is positioned around supervised automation: an AI platform that handles structured, repetitive work while human specialists oversee key checkpoints. Its proprietary model is used to orchestrate outcome-driven workflows so teams can shift attention to higher-value, creative, and judgement-based work.
This is a client-facing role for someone who can lead complex deployment work, align internal and external stakeholders, and drive successful delivery of implementation projects end to end.
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of the entire delivery cycle for assigned engagements, including scoping, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-launch stabilisation.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, RAID logs, and recurring daily and weekly status updates.
- Set up governance routines such as stand-ups, steering meetings, and sprint reviews.
- Work across functions to manage dependencies and keep deliverables on track.
- Monitor project progress through milestones and KPIs, and escalate early when risks appear.
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for client project teams.
- Lead discovery sessions with client stakeholders to identify new strategic use cases for the product.
- Continue working with clients after deployment to uncover additional value and future use cases.
- Convert business needs into practical plans and ensure alignment across teams.
- Manage expectations around scope, budget, quality, approvals, and change requests in a clear and consistent way.
- Support user acceptance testing, training, and client enablement activities.
- Identify risks and blockers early and drive mitigation and resolution plans.
- Keep project documentation accurate, structured, and current.
- Control scope creep through formal change management.
- Maintain delivery quality and ensure work follows company standards and methods.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to improve delivery workflows and handovers.
- Capture lessons learned, contribute to internal playbooks, and support operational improvements.
- Mentor project coordinators or analysts when needed.
- Contribute to resource planning and forecast internal delivery capacity.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and confident project leader who can manage ambiguity, work independently, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. The right person will bring structure to complex situations, balance competing priorities, and work comfortably across product, technical, and client teams.
Required Experience and Skills
- 4 to 7 years of experience in project management, delivery, consulting, or programme coordination.
- Proven success managing multiple complex IT transformation projects across cross-functional teams.
- Strong planning, organisation, and execution abilities, especially in ambiguous environments.
- Exposure to SaaS, technology, AI, data, or process automation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of delivery tools such as Jira, Monday, Asana, Confluence, and Gantt-based tools.
- Experience running project governance processes such as stand-ups, sprint cycles, retrospectives, and steering committees.
Preferred Background
- Experience delivering enterprise implementations or workflow automation projects.
- Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Background in consulting, customer success, or technical delivery.
- Ability to interpret basic technical documentation or understand API and SaaS integrations.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ScrumMaster are helpful but not mandatory.
