Role overview
A well-regarded clinic in Riyadh is looking for a Reception Supervisor to lead the front desk and keep day-to-day reception work running smoothly. This position calls for solid customer service judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to manage a busy healthcare reception in line with Saudi workplace and healthcare regulations.
Core duties
The selected candidate will oversee reception activities such as patient registration, appointment coordination, visitor handling, and accurate record management. The role also involves ensuring that patient information is entered correctly, identity checks are completed properly, and the reception team works closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain an efficient patient flow.
In addition, the supervisor will manage staff rosters, enforce front-desk service procedures, address complaints in a professional manner, and help sustain a consistently high standard of service. The position also supports billing control, reporting, and KPI monitoring, while reinforcing internal policies such as the “no invoice–no service” approach where applicable.
Compliance and data handling
This role must operate within Saudi Arabia’s healthcare and workplace requirements, including adherence to Ministry of Health operational standards and privacy obligations under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law. Careful handling of sensitive patient data and strict confidentiality are essential parts of the job.
Qualifications and profile
The employer is seeking someone with prior experience in healthcare or hospitality, strong communication skills, and proven leadership ability in a regulated environment. A background in supervising reception or customer-facing teams is important, along with the confidence to train, coach, and monitor staff performance.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Additional expectations
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, able to manage several tasks at once, and comfortable using office and reception systems such as phone tools, visitor management platforms, scheduling software, and standard office applications.
