Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a progressive team that encourages creativity, teamwork and innovation. The position involves collaborating with experienced specialists and taking the lead on projects centred on sustainable engineering solutions across a varied portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects as the main coordinator, aligning internal resources so technical, cost and quality targets are delivered on schedule.
• Handle commercial aspects such as project budgeting, value engineering and support with tender reviews and equipment selection analysis.
• Maintain compliance with ISO requirements and health and safety rules, including preparing safety documentation and files.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and external consultants, chairing design meetings and managing expectations throughout the project.
• Supervise site installations, complete quality inspections, draft condition reports and ensure BCAR compliance is achieved.
• Guide and develop junior engineers, encouraging knowledge exchange within multidisciplinary teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering or a closely related subject, and will have a strong track record of delivering building services projects across the full project lifecycle. A solid grasp of electrical systems and Irish building regulations is essential, along with the ability to assess and approve complex design packages. The role also requires confidence in leading projects, balancing technical and financial responsibilities, and representing the business in senior-level discussions.
