Service Porter

Role Overview

Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia is seeking a Service Porter to support day-to-day dealership operations in Buford, Georgia. This role is part of a large, privately owned automotive group known for a hands-on leadership style, growth opportunities, and a strong team environment.

The position is focused on keeping vehicles, service areas, and customer movement organized while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workplace.

Key Duties

• Move vehicles between the service lane, service bays, and parking areas
• Create key tags for vehicles
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Keep parking areas and service drives tidy and orderly
• Sweep, shovel, or vacuum debris and clear work areas
• Relocate vehicles as instructed and in line with dealership procedures
• Provide transportation for clients when requested
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 18 years old in order to drive for the company
• Ability to repeatedly move and position the body to retrieve vehicles from the parking lot
