Teaching Assistant

Role overview

This role is for a Teaching Assistant who will support working professionals as they build and apply digital capabilities. The position is focused on helping learners stay engaged, complete their training successfully, and move toward new career opportunities.

What you will do

• Help run live online classes by supporting the trainer on Zoom, handling breakout rooms, and using interactive tools such as polls, games, and simulations.
• Share session updates before, during, and after classes through chat, email, and other communication channels, while answering learner queries and routing complex subject questions to the trainer.
• Lead tutorials, coaching sessions, and group activities to guide participants through course material and assignments.
• Work one-to-one with learners who need extra encouragement or support so they can keep pace with the cohort.
• Review attendance and assessment data to spot learners who may be at risk and provide targeted follow-up.
• Keep trainers informed about learner progress, class pacing, and how well the content is working, so the program can be improved continuously.
• Partner with trainers to grade assignments and assessments accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline and improve existing processes in support of a strong learning experience.

Who you will work with

You will report to the Track Lead and the Learner Excellence Lead, and you will work alongside colleagues from content, operations, placement, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to coach and guide learners.
• A structured, process-driven mindset and the maturity to represent the BCG brand professionally.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Comfort using tools such as Zoom, Miro, and Trello, along with the ability to pick up new digital systems quickly.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Collaborative attitude with a strong sense of accountability.

Preferred background

• Prior experience in training or coaching, especially with mid-career or senior learners.
• Business exposure such as an MBA or relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with the subject areas being taught, including Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Digital Transformation.
• Experience with learning management systems or online learning platforms.
• Basic data analysis and reporting skills to track learner progress and outcomes.

This is a part-time onsite opportunity in Singapore. The role is designed for someone who can support a structured learning environment, work well across teams, and contribute to the improvement of digital training delivery.
