Role overview
The Customer Care Representative will be responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality service to key distributors and clients, ensuring a positive customer experience at every stage of the order and enquiry process.
Key duties
- Manage order processing and related service activities so customer needs are handled accurately, promptly, and efficiently.
- Respond in a professional and friendly manner to questions about products, orders, freight, and billing.
- Prepare quotations, enter orders, update records, and manage telephone and email enquiries.
- Investigate customer requests, issues, and concerns using established procedures to reach effective resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved customer concerns, system gaps, and possible sales opportunities to the Supervisor and Sales team or management.
- Track inbound and outbound goods schedules and keep customers and the sales team informed in a timely way.
- Help avoid or resolve billing disagreements and support better operational efficiency.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Customer Care Supervisor.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will have prior experience in a similar environment, preferably in customer service, internal sales, administration, bookkeeping, or a call centre. Strong organisational ability, a practical mindset, and confidence working across multiple tasks are important. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams is required, and experience with an ERP platform will be viewed favourably.
Working style and expectations
This position requires someone who is dependable, self-driven, focused on results, and comfortable taking initiative. Flexibility around working schedules is important, including the ability to work occasional overtime. The role also requires commuting to the Wangara office every day.
