About the Role
Parsons is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support its team in Abu Dhabi. This position suits someone who can manage commercial and contractual aspects of infrastructure work while contributing to accurate cost control and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Measure quantities and prepare pricing based on contract drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Handle post-contract quantity surveying duties, including interim and final payments, variations, commercial correspondence, cash flow tracking, and claims.
- Provide guidance on contractual matters and ensure contract obligations are properly met.
- Review contractor resource allocation and advise where needed.
- Audit payments made to contractors and confirm valuation submissions are complete and timely.
- Measure completed work and maintain proper records.
- Prepare variation and day-work documentation.
- Track the final forecast cost of contracts and maintain expenditure records.
- Assess, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements.
- Coordinate team activities and monitor progress.
- Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
- Carry out other related duties as required for the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and logically with management and colleagues.
- Sound understanding of construction commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
- AutoCAD familiarity is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and capability to work independently.
