Role Overview

The Store Supervisor will oversee the store’s complete day-to-day operation, ensuring smooth execution across staffing, inventory, order handling, cost control, service quality, and compliance with operating standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the store’s end-to-end operations, including staffing, shift planning, receiving inbound stock, shelving and replenishment, order picking and packing, and keeping expenses within approved operating standards.
• Plan and coordinate store activity by assigning staff, setting schedules, and overseeing routine as well as preventive maintenance tasks.
• Use the picker team efficiently by assigning multi-skilled tasks so productivity and UTR performance are improved.
• Manage replenishment and ordering to keep stock levels healthy, avoid stockouts and overstocking, and place orders based on demand-planner input together with a physical stock review.
• Control inventory processes to ensure accurate stock records, strong stock discipline, and adequate product availability.
• Handle inbound goods accurately in line with company policies and SOPs.
• Ensure customer orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently according to SOP requirements.
• Track fulfillment workflows continuously and suggest improvements that raise productivity and profitability.
• Oversee the assigned store to protect profitability, maintain strong service, and support employee development.
• Manage store staff effectively so resources are used well and service-level expectations are achieved.
• Monitor operating costs against budget and improve cost efficiency across store activities.
• Implement actions related to shrinkage and help reduce store losses.
• Make sure equipment, infrastructure, and other store assets are used correctly and remain in good condition.
• Lead the implementation of hygiene, sanitation, safety, security, and service standards, while maintaining excellent internal and external customer service.
• Discuss store challenges with the Operations Manager and propose practical solutions.
• Supervise internal maintenance work and coordinate with third-party service providers when needed.
• Ensure material handling equipment is used safely and appropriately at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a supermarket or restaurant environment.
• Strong communication abilities and a practical, hands-on working style.
• Comfort working in uncertain or changing situations and eagerness to learn on the job every day.
• Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

Eligibility

This role is suitable for candidates with substantial store, supermarket, or restaurant operations experience who are prepared to manage a busy onsite operation in Doha and work directly with staff, inventory, service, and maintenance activities.

Additional Information

The job requires close control of store operations, stock integrity, service standards, hygiene, security, safety, maintenance coordination, and cost management. The supervisor is expected to work hands-on and collaborate with the Operations Manager on store-related issues.
