Role overview

This is a remote web development contract focused on building polished, responsive web experiences and supporting end-to-end product delivery. The engagement is hourly, with compensation ranging from $20 to $70 per hour. Weekly availability is expected to fall between 10 and 40 hours.

What you'll do

Create and update web applications that are responsive, intuitive, and aligned with user needs.
Connect frontend components with backend APIs and handle data flow between the two layers.
Work alongside design professionals to shape smooth and consistent user journeys.
Investigate issues, fix defects, and improve application speed, stability, and scalability.
Produce code that is clean, easy to maintain, and properly documented according to best practices.
Take part in planning discussions and help evaluate technical approaches for upcoming work.
Keep communication clear and timely with teammates and other stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Hands-on expertise with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Practical experience consuming and integrating backend APIs.
Good grasp of responsive design and compatibility across browsers.
Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
Comfort working autonomously in a remote setup.
Experience using digital collaboration tools while working with distributed teams.
Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
