Where you'll work
Deskripsi pekerjaan
Role overview
This position is a strong next step for someone who has begun a career in credit risk or quantitative modelling and wants to deepen technical capability while working on complex financial services engagements. You will support a growing credit risk and quantitative modelling practice and gain exposure to work across multiple financial institutions.
About the team
The Credit Risk and Quantitative Modelling team is part of a well-established assurance practice and works with banks and non-bank lenders on model development, model validation, and ongoing monitoring. The team also helps clients interpret and respond to regulatory and accounting developments that may affect their credit risk modelling frameworks. This is a newly created role, so there is room to grow with the team as it expands, with guidance from experienced modellers and senior colleagues.
What you will do
You will contribute directly to live client engagements from the outset rather than spending time on the sidelines. The role offers a mix of technical modelling, analysis, documentation, and client-facing learning across several projects.
- Assist with building, reviewing, and validating credit risk models for PD, LGD, and EAD, including use in IFRS 9 and regulatory capital work.
- Perform data analysis and prepare supporting documentation for client deliverables.
- Support stress testing work, including newer areas such as climate-related credit modelling.
- Research changes in regulation and accounting and help evaluate how they affect client models.
- Use tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar languages to support model development and validation testing.
- Work alongside senior team members across multiple assignments and develop your understanding of client management and delivery.
- Share analysis and findings with the wider team and gradually build toward presenting directly to clients.
About you
You are analytically strong, curious, and motivated to apply academic or early career experience to practical problems in financial services. You do not need to know everything already, but you should be someone who asks thoughtful questions, takes responsibility, and is committed to improving your skills.
Why this role stands out
This opportunity offers variety, real technical work, and the chance to learn from experienced professionals in a consulting environment. You will also have access to coaching, mentoring, and a culture that values growth, inclusion, and flexible ways of working.
Benefits and culture
- Preference for in-person collaboration with teams and clients, alongside flexibility to support work-life balance.
- Mentoring and coaching programs to help you progress in your career.
- Recognition initiatives that celebrate milestones.

- Retail discounts, wellbeing leave, paid volunteering days, 12 flexible working options, market-leading parental leave, and support for returning to work after parental leave.
- A workplace culture focused on inclusion, diverse perspectives, and continuous learning.
Application and selection notes
