Application Support Analyst (Oracle)

Role Overview

Gibraltar Technologies LLC is looking for a seasoned Application Support Analyst who can support, maintain, and improve enterprise applications built on Oracle and Microsoft technologies. This position focuses on keeping business systems stable, resolving issues quickly, and enhancing application performance through configuration, troubleshooting, and development work.

What You Will Do

• Deliver both technical and functional support for enterprise applications running on Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Investigate application defects, identify the underlying causes, and put effective fixes in place.
• Create, update, and improve SQL and PL/SQL scripts, reports such as XML Publisher and RDF, and workflow processes.
• Work with Oracle Framework components, including OAF, Oracle Workflow, and AME, to support and tailor solutions.
• Build application features using Oracle APEX.
• Handle system integrations using REST APIs and help ensure reliable data exchange between platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and convert them into workable technical solutions.
• Carry out routine system checks, apply updates, and tune performance where needed.
• Provide support for Oracle ERP areas including P2P, O2C, EAM, and HRMS.

Technical Expertise Needed

The role calls for practical experience with Oracle tools and enterprise support activities, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues, develop reports and scripts, and work across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline. The role requires at least 6 years of direct experience in application support and development, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. The ability to work effectively both on your own and as part of a collaborative team is also important.
