Role Summary
The Associate eLearning Developer will join the eLearning Production team and contribute to the creation, updating, and maintenance of high-quality online courses, instructor-led training materials, and related learning assets. The position calls for creativity, technical ability, and strong teamwork to deliver engaging learning content within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Adobe Audition, Articulate Storyline, and similar tools to align audio with visuals, build and tailor layouts, edit learning content, and publish eLearning modules and supporting files.
- Handle the Request for Files queue by preparing editable course materials and source files for instructors and reviewers during the content review cycle.
- Support audio production by preparing narration scripts, creating AI voiceovers, checking sound quality, and placing audio into eLearning projects.
- Work the Quick Fix Jira queue by reviewing requested revisions, communicating with instructors and stakeholders, making content changes, and republishing updated materials.
- Coordinate with voice talent, content developers, external SMEs, and other eLearning team members to keep deliverables on schedule.
- Perform detailed quality checks to find and fix technical problems or content errors.
- Flag issues early and recommend practical improvements to processes and outcomes.
- Stay effective in a fast-moving, deadline-focused environment while maintaining strong quality standards.
- Contribute both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals.
- Keep work organized, handle multiple priorities, and adjust quickly when priorities change with limited notice.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Solid technical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to research and resolve technology or content issues independently.
- Strong organization and project management abilities with close attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage workload independently, balance competing priorities, and work with limited supervision.
- Good judgment in prioritizing urgency and importance across several simultaneous requests and projects.
- Consistent record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs while protecting quality.
- Ability to work well on your own and within a team setting.
- Preferred: familiarity with Articulate 360.
- Preferred: experience with audio editing tools such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, or WavePad.
- Preferred: experience with Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking systems.
- Preferred: background in eLearning development, instructional technology, digital media production, or a related area.
