Overview

This opportunity is for Google’s Associate Product Marketing Manager program, part of its global early-career marketing track. The role is being recruited for the Fall 2026 cohort. It is based onsite and may be placed in San Bruno, CA, or another eligible office location including Playa Vista, CA; San Francisco, CA; Kirkland, WA; Mountain View, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; or Sunnyvale, CA.

In this program, you will contribute to high-priority marketing work, build a broad foundation in product marketing, and grow through mentorship, learning milestones, peer engagement, and leadership exposure. You will work on assignments that support business goals and may help shape product positioning, launch planning, user insights, growth marketing, campaigns, and brand strategy.

The role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Program experience

Participants are expected to complete learning and development milestones, attend APMM programming, and take part in the broader community of current participants and alumni. The program includes dedicated development opportunities, at least two distinct project assignments, and strong networking exposure across marketing and the wider company.

What you may do

  • Contribute to go-to-market planning and campaign execution for launches, then track performance against key business metrics.
  • Help design customer acquisition and engagement initiatives, including messaging, materials, events, and related strategy.
  • Support product and feature evaluation to ensure readiness for launch and help communicate updates to users.
  • Build narratives, presentations, case studies, and other materials for clients, executives, and partner audiences.
  • Carry out marketing work within larger initiatives under manager guidance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or comparable practical experience.
  • Background in marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency work, technology, or a related area gained through full-time employment, internships, projects, or academic coursework.

  • Strong interest in Google’s products, technology innovation, and the company’s work in artificial intelligence.
  • A global perspective with the ability to work across different disciplines, industries, cultures, and ambiguous situations.

Benefits and compensation

Estimated US compensation for the role is $95,000 to $136,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Eligible US-based employees receive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a 401(k) with company match; paid vacation; sick leave; maternity leave; baby bonding leave; and paid holidays.
