About the role

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Cleaner for a permanent full-time assignment at the Glaxosmithkline site in Worthing. The role is focused on maintaining high cleaning standards, working to agreed service levels, and following the planned cleaning rota. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:00, with a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate is £13.45.

Responsibilities

• Keep cleaning equipment clean, well cared for, and safe to use.
• Carry out work in line with agreed service level expectations and scheduled cleaning plans.
• Develop a clear understanding of the assigned cleaning zone, including the tools and chemicals used there.
• Follow health and safety rules and complete all mandatory training.
• Work well both as part of a team and on your own while providing strong customer service.

• Ability to read and communicate in basic English.
• Prior experience in cleaning.
