Learning & Development Specialist

Role Overview

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will create and deliver training content that meets the needs of Talkiatry’s varied employee base. You’ll work with teams across the company to design programs that are engaging, practical, and aligned with the organization’s growth goals. The role is centered on helping colleagues gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to perform well while strengthening the company’s overall capability.

What You’ll Do

• Run recurring onboarding sessions for newly hired psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists joining the clinician team.
• Create material for instructor-led workshops and digital learning modules for both corporate and clinical audiences.
• Help roll out cohort-based learning experiences for corporate and clinical groups, with emphasis on leadership development and equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Work with teams across the company to build additional learning resources and development content as needed.
• Support the L&D team’s ongoing strategy and capability-building efforts.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering courses for adult learners in a professional environment.
• Comfort using Microsoft products and virtual collaboration tools.
• Experience administering and updating content in a learning management system.
• Hands-on experience with instructional design tools for creating interactive learning experiences.
• Exposure to electronic health records is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service abilities, paired with optimism, organizational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.

Compensation

Expected salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per year.
