Key responsibilities

• Guide customers with knowledgeable help on lumber and building material purchases
• Help customers load products safely and efficiently
• Review invoices and confirm that the correct items are being issued
• Handle daily department upkeep, including unloading trucks, sorting lumber, arranging stock, cleaning, pricing items, and keeping pallets and inventory areas orderly
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers
• Complete opening and closing tasks in the yard when required
• Carry out other duties that help the store operate smoothly

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Previous familiarity with building materials is considered an advantage
