Role overview
This position sits within Uber’s Operations function supporting Driver Growth in Germany. Based in Berlin, the role focuses on expanding and strengthening fleet partnerships, helping owners scale on the platform, and serving as a key Uber representative in the market. The work combines account growth, partner support, operational problem-solving, and cross-functional execution.
The role is suited to someone who is highly analytical, relationship-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership.
What you will be doing
- Grow and reinforce the fleet partner network by identifying new supply sources and introducing Uber’s app and services to prospective fleets.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key fleet owners across Germany, acting as their main contact and internal advocate.
- Support partners as they work through local operational challenges, regulatory requirements, and day-to-day business issues.
- Design and roll out incentive approaches that improve partner engagement and increase supply on the platform.
- Own projects from idea stage through delivery, coordinating with teams such as Marketing, Legal, and Product to drive growth outcomes.
What you need
- At least 3 years of professional experience in operations management, management consulting, sales, or a high-growth startup setting.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Comfort working with data, performance metrics, and business models to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong motivation to contribute to Uber’s mission and work with a wide range of external partners.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet partners in person.
- Preferred but not required: strong command of Google Sheets and SQL, plus experience handling complex external partnerships or demanding negotiations.
