Role overview

Explorester Holidays is hiring a runner boy in Lucknow to manage everyday errands, local pickups, deliveries, and other on-ground support tasks across the city.

Key responsibilities

• Move around Lucknow to procure office supplies, materials, and other requested items.
• Identify suitable shops or alternate sources when the required item is not immediately available.
• Check prices across vendors and select the most cost-effective option.
• Handle petty cash, keep purchase receipts, and turn in expense details accurately.
• Collect and deliver parcels or documents to offices, suppliers, courier outlets, or customers.
• Use local route knowledge or navigation apps to travel efficiently within the city.
• Take care of urgent and time-sensitive errands with quick turnaround.
• Support basic banking-related errands such as deposits and withdrawals, which is considered an added advantage.

Requirements

• A valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.
• Applicants should have a smartphone with internet connectivity.
• Good familiarity with Lucknow roads, localities, and routes is important.
• Candidates must be physically fit and able to carry parcels weighing around 15 kg to 20 kg.
• Basic communication ability in Hindi or English is needed.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience.
• Local candidates from Lucknow are preferred.
