Role purpose

In this position, you will join the Onshore Operations team for projects in Saudi Arabia. Your main task is to help maintain safe and effective site operations by checking that HSE requirements are followed, observing work in progress, and supporting operational teams in creating a secure workplace.

Key duties

• Observe site activities to confirm they comply with HSE rules and internal standards.
• Assist supervisors and work crews during everyday onshore operations.
• Spot unsafe situations and possible hazards, then escalate them promptly.
• Help keep access routes clear, maintain good housekeeping, and ensure the work area is ready for operations.
• Encourage a positive safety mindset and support clear communication between site teams.

Candidate profile

The company is seeking someone with a Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or high school certificate in a relevant field. A background of 2 to 4 years in a Stand By Man role, or a similar site support position, is preferred, ideally in Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, or another industrial environment.

English language ability is required, and Arabic will be considered an advantage. You should also be familiar with HSE practices, Permit to Work systems, site safety procedures, hazard identification, and effective workplace communication.

Other details

Some travel within Saudi Arabia should be expected. The role is based on Saudi Arabia project sites and is offered on a permanent contract. Hybrid work is not applicable.
