Support Engineer

About the Role

Join Snoonu as a Support Engineer, a position central to monitoring and managing the technical operations essential to our organization. This role involves oversight of our Network Operations Center (NOC) and support services, focusing on ensuring system reliability and rapid incident resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and availability of networks, servers, security, and crucial applications to detect and address outages or issues promptly.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
• Develop and maintain documentation for procedures and operational processes related to NOC and support functions.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution and recording of incidents.
• Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders and leadership about operational status and ongoing incidents.
• Proactively suggest and implement improvements in tools, systems, and team skills.
• Conduct thorough root cause analyses for significant incidents and outages.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Minimum three years of experience working in Network Operations Centers and/or technical support environments.
• Strong expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure monitoring (especially AWS), and application monitoring.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as ELK, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
• Experience working with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• Background in incident management and ticketing systems, including Jira.
• Proven capabilities in providing Level 1 and Level 2 support.
• Good command of Linux system administration at a mid-level.
• Intermediate proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python, or .NET.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Willingness to participate in off-hours and on-call rotations as required.
