Role overview
Salesforce is hiring a Tableau Data Visualization Analyst for the Field Readiness Data Office in the Data organization. The team’s goal is to become the strategic intelligence layer that helps Salesforce develop, enable, and scale talent more effectively. In this position, you will turn complex enablement and readiness information into clear, decision-ready visualizations that help teams move faster and act with confidence.
You will work closely with Field Readiness, TechOps, and senior leaders to convert raw data into meaningful insights that support seller development and enablement programs. The role is focused on building dashboards, improving analytics maturity, and helping the organization move from reactive reporting toward predictive and personalized analytics.
Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and support interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that monitor enablement completion, readiness indicators, and program outcomes.
- Combine and integrate data from Salesforce orgs, readiness platforms, and other internal systems to create a unified analytics view.
- Work with Field Readiness, TechOps, and the Data Office engineering team to ensure reporting aligns with business priorities.
- Maintain strong data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all dashboards and published reporting.
- Spot trends, unusual patterns, and data anomalies, then communicate useful insights to leadership proactively.
- Help progress analytics from backward-looking reporting to predictive and personalized insights aligned to the FY27 roadmap.
- Keep documentation updated for data sources, metric definitions, and analytics standards so reporting can scale in a governed way.
- Coach teammates on Tableau usage and improve data literacy across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau, including Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud/Server; familiarity with Tableau Next and Tableau Pulse is a plus.
- Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Salesforce data models and reporting objects.
- Experience pulling and analyzing data from Salesforce orgs.
- Good understanding of enablement, learning and development, or HR analytics data is highly valuable.
- Strong communication ability, with the skill to explain complex data in a clear way to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
- Interest in data-driven enablement and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred additions include Tableau certification, exposure to AI/ML ideas, prompt engineering, or LLM-based analytics, and familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or similar transformation tools.
- Experience in Sales Enablement or Revenue Operations is also a plus.
Perks and benefits
- Opportunity to help shape how Salesforce develops and enables talent using AI-augmented analytics.
- Collaborative team culture focused on shipping practical solutions and demonstrating impact.
- Direct visibility with senior leadership and strategic programs.
- Access to ongoing learning, development, and certification opportunities.
- Salesforce benefits may include time off, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchase program.
- Some roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and additional benefits.
