Role overview

Rentco Equipment Ltd. is looking for a full-time Yard Hand/Labourer to join its Peace River location.

What you'll do

• Prepare rental equipment accurately and efficiently for customer use.
• Check equipment operation and demonstrate proper use to customers when needed.
• Manage the safe and correct loading and unloading of equipment.
• Carry out regular safety and condition checks on rental equipment using the company’s tagging process.
• Examine returned items for damage and fuel levels, and report issues to the counter team right away.
• Keep the yard and shop clean, orderly, and safe by returning equipment to the right places and clearing debris and snow.
• Document incoming, outgoing, and damaged equipment according to Rentco procedures.
• Wash and refuel equipment as needed.

• Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Clear verbal communication.
• A dependable work ethic and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
• Ability to work well on your own and with others.
• Basic written communication and simple math skills.
• Comfort operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts.

Compensation and benefits

The hourly wage for this position is between $20.00 and $22.00.
