Copy Writing & Research Intern

About the internship

This internship is designed for a content-focused candidate who can support writing, research, and communication work for a charitable organization operating in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The role involves creating clear copy for digital and formal communication pieces, gathering reliable information for campaigns and proposals, and assisting with content refinement across formats.

What you'll do

• Write blog posts, website content, and social media captions for different initiatives and projects.
• Carry out background research to support campaigns, reports, proposals, and tenders.
• Prepare initial drafts of press releases, impact write-ups, newsletters, and similar communication material.
• Help improve content through editing, proofreading, and polishing text for different platforms.
• Assist with script development and create content briefs for video-related assignments when needed.
• Translate or localize material between English and Telugu whenever required.

Who can apply

Applications are open to candidates who can work full time from the office, are able to begin between 21st Jun'26 and 26th Jul'26, and can commit to a 6-month internship. Applicants should have relevant writing and research interest or experience. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Strong command of written English with the ability to produce clear, structured, and engaging content.
• Good research ability, including locating, checking, and combining information from dependable sources.
• Comfort writing in multiple formats such as articles, web copy, social media posts, and formal documents.
• Knowledge of Telugu writing or translation will be an advantage.
• Preference may be given to final-year undergraduates or recent graduates in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or related disciplines.
• A writing sample or portfolio must be shared with the application.

Compensation

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 to 15,000.
