This on-site finance internship in Bangalore is a 6-month full-time opportunity with One Root (ENP Farms Private Limited). The role focuses on core finance and accounting support across bookkeeping, records management, reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams.

One Root is a transparent and traceable marketplace that connects farmers directly with institutional and enterprise buyers so produce can be sold at fair prices without middlemen. The platform is designed to help farmers earn better profits and gain greater control over pricing while giving buyers a direct and more economical sourcing channel. The company is also working to build a large network of smallholder and marginal farmers across India and supports them with farm advisory, market linkage, financial assistance, and access to government schemes.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and organized documentation.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks and daily accounting operations.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
  • Monitor business spending and keep proper expense records.
  • Assist with financial statements, MIS reports, and management reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and check financial transactions for accuracy.
  • Update invoices, purchase documents, payment records, and related files.
  • Work with different internal teams to collect and arrange financial data.
  • Follow company policies and financial procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Prepare supporting data for audits and financial reviews.

Eligibility

Applications are open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, are able to begin between 1 July 2026 and 5 August 2026, and can stay for the full 6-month duration. Applicants should have relevant skills and genuine interest in finance and accounting. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Other requirements

  • Pursuing or already completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and financial management.
  • Comfort using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy.
  • High attention to detail and a careful approach to data.
  • Ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar software will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Compensation and perks

The stipend offered is INR 10,000 to 15,000 per month. Additional benefits include a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and an informal dress code.
