About the Internship

This internship offers a unique opportunity to be involved in our active social programs across Education, Health, and Environment. Working closely with the Program Head, you will gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and documenting field activities. This role is field-intensive, requiring interaction with community members, partner NGOs, government officials, and corporate CSR teams, providing a comprehensive understanding of large-scale social program management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the strategic planning and scheduling of program activities, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Coordinate essential field visits, community mobilization efforts, and direct beneficiary interactions.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and government bodies, educational institutions, health centers, and other partner organizations.
• Maintain meticulous records of program activities, attendance, and beneficiary data.
• Gather field data to support the creation of monthly progress reports for CSR partners.
• Document impactful success stories, case studies, and capture field photographs for communication purposes.
• Provide logistical support for various events such as health camps, awareness drives, tree plantation initiatives, and workshops.
• Contribute to the development of program proposals, budgets, and implementation strategies.
• Manage and enhance Udaan's social media presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X.
• Develop and create engaging content, including posts, carousels, reels, infographics, and short videos.
• Craft compelling narratives about our programs, beneficiaries, and team members (with appropriate consent).
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting, aiming for 4-5 posts per week.
• Design visually appealing assets for social media, presentations, and reports using tools like Canva or Adobe.
• Assist in drafting organizational communications such as newsletters, press releases, donor updates, and impact summaries.
• Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster an online community.
• Collaborate with the program team to gather field stories, images, and data for content creation.
• Research and compile a database of potential corporate CSR partners (PSUs, MNCs, Indian corporates) aligned with our focus areas.
• Analyze CSR Annual Reports and Schedule VII compliance to identify companies suitable for funding Education, Health, and Environment initiatives.
• Draft tailored CSR proposals, concept notes, and program briefs to match specific corporate interests.
• Create compelling partnership pitch decks using PowerPoint or Canva for presentations to CSR heads.
• Coordinate and schedule introductory meetings and calls with key CSR decision-makers.
• Maintain a comprehensive tracker for all prospects, proposals, follow-up actions, and deal progression.
• Assist in preparing detailed impact reports and utilization certificates for current CSR partners.
• Identify and research relevant CSR events, conferences, and forums to increase organizational visibility.

Internship Terms and Conditions

The internship duration is subject to regular performance evaluations. Udaan Engineers Multipurpose Society reserves the right to conclude the internship prior to its scheduled end date if the intern's performance, conduct, attendance, or engagement is deemed unsatisfactory, or if necessitated by organizational requirements. Where feasible, such decisions will be communicated in advance.
