12ab IPV Operative

Overview

Chevron Traffic Management is hiring a 12ab IPV Operative in Manchester (OL10 2TA). This is a full-time, onsite night-shift position with a standard working pattern of 48 hours per week, plus the option of overtime.

The pay is competitive and will depend on your qualification level, location, and experience. In addition to salary, the role includes benefits and overtime opportunities. A £500 welcome bonus is also offered in the first pay for eligible qualified operatives.

Key duties

In this role, you will be an important part of the team and will be expected to:

• Operate the IPV vehicle.
• Carry out traffic counts and handle related communication with clients and subcontractors.
• Record timings and near-miss incidents.
• Support and mentor new trainees.

Essential requirements include a Lantra 12ab qualification, a Class 2 / Category C licence, and an IPV qualification. You should also be familiar with Chapter 8 regulations.

A full driving licence is required, with no more than 6 points. Any driving ban must have ended at least 5 years ago. A drug and alcohol test is mandatory, and the offer depends on successfully passing it. Any employment offer is also subject to required medical assessments.
