About the Role
Join a customer-facing B2B sales position focused on building long-term partnerships and creating measurable value for key accounts. In this role, you will work with Hilti’s innovative construction solutions, using consultative selling to understand customer challenges and recommend practical, high-impact answers. The position is based in Vijayawada and includes regular visits to customer jobsites and offices, along with the use of the company’s branded sales vehicle to support field activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute growth plans for strategic accounts and convert customers into long-term business partners.
- Develop trusted relationships with key customers and lead engagement from senior decision-makers downward.
- Identify fresh business opportunities within the assigned territory and pursue them proactively.
- Visit customer sites and offices to assess needs and provide technical guidance and effective solutions.
- Conduct product demos and seminars that clearly show the value of the company’s offerings.
- Use the CRM platform to plan sales actions while maintaining strong call quality, data accuracy, and productivity.
- Keep precise records of customer conversations, opportunities, and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Meet sales goals and contribute to revenue growth through consistent customer engagement.
- Oversee credit collection efforts while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Work closely with teams such as logistics, materials management, credit, marketing, technical services, and customer service to ensure smooth delivery and support.
- Track market developments and competitor activity to stay ahead of changes in the business landscape.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical, or a closely related discipline; an MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach to selling and problem solving.
- Previous exposure to sales or business development work.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to perform well in team-based environments.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving commercial setting.
- Ability to plan work effectively so customer-facing time and productivity are maximized.
