Area Cleaner

Role overview

The Area Cleaner is responsible for keeping clinical spaces and shared facility areas clean, sanitary, and safe. This role supports a high standard of housekeeping so that patients or residents, visitors, and staff are provided with an aseptic environment.

Shift

This is a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical areas and common spaces throughout the facility.
• Carry out assigned housekeeping tasks in line with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Maintain a hygienic environment that supports infection control and patient safety.
• Help ensure the facility remains orderly, clean, and welcoming for all occupants.

Experience

Prior experience in facilities cleaning is required. Having at least one year of relevant experience is considered an advantage.

Education

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
