The role also includes coaching Senior Visual Merchandisers and Visual Merchandisers, maintaining execution standards, tracking market developments, and working with cross-functional partners to deliver effective in-store visuals.

Brand Presentation and Store Execution

  • Lead and support Senior Visual Merchandisers and Visual Merchandisers across several stores so that displays, layouts, and presentation standards remain aligned with the brand image and business goals.
  • Plan and supervise window displays, in-store layouts, and promotional installations while keeping visual standards consistent across all locations.
  • Run regular team meetings to communicate priorities, share market observations, give creative guidance, and resolve issues.
  • Review store displays, layout quality, and product placement on an ongoing basis to maintain a uniform visual standard.
  • Refine floor plans and product zoning using sales patterns, shopper behavior, and market insights to improve engagement and sales.
  • Track the impact of visual initiatives with store teams and make display changes when needed to capture stronger commercial results.

Cross-functional Coordination and Strategic Support

  • Work closely with operations, buying, and brand management teams so visual plans are aligned with stock availability, promotions, and sales objectives.
  • Support marketing campaigns, seasonal introductions, and brand communication by ensuring in-store visuals reinforce the intended message.
  • Contribute strategic input through continuing market research, competitor review, and customer lifestyle analysis.
  • Support pre-opening preparations for new stores and ensure launch visuals meet brand standards and are ready for trade.

Research and Innovation

  • Study market movements and retail trends to identify new opportunities for visual merchandising that fit the brand direction and business priorities.
  • Compare store presentation approaches with competitors and industry practices to encourage fresh ideas and innovation.
  • Recommend changes to visual strategy based on shopper insights, buying behavior, and changes in the market.

Budgeting and Reporting

  • Oversee the visual merchandising budget for the assigned area and ensure resources are used efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Prepare regular updates on the effectiveness of visual merchandising activities and highlight opportunities for improvement.

Training and Team Development

  • Coach and develop Senior Visual Merchandisers and Visual Merchandisers through continuous training, feedback, and guidance on display methods, brand standards, and trend awareness.
  • Create and reinforce best practices for execution so junior team members work to a high standard and knowledge is shared effectively across stores.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Visit stores frequently to evaluate visual merchandising performance, offer direction, and make sure brand standards are consistently maintained.
  • Collect and assess feedback from store teams, customers, and sales results to keep improving visual merchandising plans.

Experience

The preferred profile brings 7 to 10 years of visual merchandising experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing large areas or regions. Experience in handling multiple stores, mentoring visual merchandising teams, and linking visual standards to business goals is important. The role also calls for a strong background in market research and the ability to create innovative visual solutions based on trends and customer insight.
