Role Overview
This position is for a licensed armed security professional who will help protect people, property, and assets through strong vigilance, controlled access, surveillance, and quick response to threats. The role also requires the lawful use of approved weapons as a deterrent, along with strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and instructions at all times.
Armed Guards will be deployed at locations assigned by the company, such as offices, industrial or commercial facilities, and residential complexes. The job includes carrying and maintaining licensed firearms in safe working condition and using them only within the boundaries of applicable law.
Core Duties
- Protect assigned premises, staff, and valuables.
- Watch entry and exit points and confirm the identity of visitors.
- Stop unauthorized entry and escalate any suspicious movement or activity.
- Respond quickly to incidents such as theft, breach of security, or violence.
- Support police or the relevant controlling authority when required.
- Maintain discipline, wear the correct uniform, and carry proper identification.
- Follow standard operating procedures and site instructions without exception.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Age should be between 18 and 65 years.
- Minimum height required: 5'7".
- Minimum education needed: 10th standard.
- Candidate should be physically fit and mentally sound.
- No criminal record; background/antecedent verification is compulsory.
- Must not be dependent on alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicants.
- Must have completed approved live-fire training, including firearm handling and maintenance.
- Must legally own the firearm and ammunition listed on the license issued by the licensing authority.
- A valid license for a non-prohibited weapon is required.
- The weapon license must also be valid in the state where the guard will be deployed.
- The company recruits gunmen with 12-bore single or double-barreled guns, .22 pistols, or revolvers.
- Ex-servicemen with a valid license and weapon are preferred.

Joining Documents
At the time of training and onboarding, the armed guard must bring the following documents and items:
- Aadhaar card.
- Educational certificates.
- Police or gram panchayat verification.
- Medical, physical, and mental fitness assessment by a registered medical practitioner.
- The licensed weapon listed in the permit, without ammunition.
- Original weapon license.
- The license must remain valid for at least 6 months from the issue date.
