Role overview
The Associate Center Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a Cultfit centre. The role focuses on creating a smooth member journey, improving sales outcomes, and keeping the centre running to a high operational standard. It calls for a strong sense of ownership, a customer-first mindset, and an ability to foster an upbeat, service-oriented fitness atmosphere.
Sales & business growth
- Take ownership of monthly targets for memberships, renewals, and add-on sales.
- Improve walk-in and trial-to-member conversion by conducting effective consultations.
- Handle the full membership conversion cycle and ensure portal entries are complete, accurate, and consistent.
Centre operations management
- Run day-to-day centre activities using the prescribed checklist tool.
- Monitor class timings, trainer punctuality, and readiness of each session.
- Carry out daily audits of the facility to uphold cleanliness, safety, and brand expectations.
- Track stock for critical items such as first-aid supplies and water, and arrange replenishment on time.
- Resolve operational issues connected to attendance, bookings, equipment, or the facility.
Member experience & engagement
- Develop a strong connection with members and contribute to a warm, community-focused environment.
- Manage escalations and help ensure a smooth experience before, during, and after classes.
- Collect and record feedback from members and trainers to support ongoing improvement.
- Represent Cultfit’s service standards as the key face of the centre.
What success looks like
- Targets for sales and conversions are consistently met or surpassed.
- The centre remains compliant, well-managed, and strong in daily performance.
- Member satisfaction, retention, and NPS stay at a high level.
- The centre maintains a positive atmosphere, strong audit outcomes, and operational discipline.
Qualifications and skills
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma is required.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, operations, hospitality, retail, or other service-led roles is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and customer management capabilities are essential.
- The ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively is important.
- A genuine interest in fitness, wellbeing, and community building is an added advantage.
