Job Overview
The organisation is seeking an experienced and meticulous BIM Coordinator to support its project delivery team in Riyadh. This position focuses on managing BIM models, safeguarding design accuracy, enabling coordination across disciplines, and ensuring all work aligns with project requirements and BIM execution standards throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Verify that models follow project specifications, standards, and BIM execution plans.
- Carry out model checks and clash detection to surface and resolve coordination conflicts.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain efficient coordination.
- Prepare, update, and maintain BIM documentation and progress reports.
- Track model revisions, ensuring correct versioning and reliable data quality.
- Contribute to better BIM procedures, standards, and coordination practices.
- Offer technical assistance and guidance on BIM applications and model coordination tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of hands-on BIM coordination experience in construction projects. Candidates should have a solid understanding of BIM workflows, coordination methods, and construction standards, along with proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and similar software. Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection is essential. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities are important, as is the capacity to handle several tasks while meeting project deadlines. Membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred and may be required.
