Job Purpose

This position supports the rollout and ongoing upkeep of Specialized’s business continuity program. The role is centered on helping the organization stay resilient by maintaining continuity plans, updating documentation, organizing exercises, and tracking preparedness activities so that key services can continue with minimal interruption and recovery goals are met under approved policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help implement and sustain the business continuity framework, including plans, procedures, and supporting materials.
  • Contribute to business impact analyses by identifying essential functions, interdependencies, and recovery needs.
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and regularly refreshing business continuity plans and associated records.
  • Arrange continuity tests, simulations, and readiness checks to measure how well recovery arrangements work.
  • Track corrective actions that arise from exercises, audits, and assessments until they are closed.
  • Keep continuity logs, reports, and documents organized so the function remains compliant and ready for audits.
  • Work with different business units to gather continuity inputs and keep plans aligned with current operating needs.
  • Support business continuity awareness sessions and training across the organization.
  • Monitor continuity-related risks and raise concerns to the appropriate stakeholders when needed.
  • Prepare regular dashboards and reports covering readiness status, test outcomes, and ongoing improvement efforts.

Experience and Education
