Role Overview
This is a full-time remote position for a Business Development Associate. In this role, you will identify and assess new business opportunities, create and maintain a strong prospect pipeline, and support the full business development process. The work includes generating leads, reaching out to potential clients through email, phone, and digital platforms, and researching markets to better understand client requirements and industry movements. You will also help prepare client presentations, contribute to proposal creation, and keep CRM records and other tracking tools up to date. The position requires close coordination with senior consultants and leadership to ensure business development efforts stay aligned with the company’s strategic goals and services.
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and manage new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects.
- Carry out outreach across email, phone, and digital channels.
- Research markets, industries, competitors, and target clients to support outreach strategy.
- Prepare client-facing presentations and assist with proposal development.
- Record and update lead and opportunity information accurately in CRM or tracking systems.
- Work with senior consultants and leadership to align business development activity with strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to tailor content and deliver it effectively.
- Hands-on experience in lead generation and prospecting, with good pipeline management ability.
- Capability to conduct, analyze, and summarize market research.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills for remote work.
- Comfort using CRM platforms, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and online collaboration software.
- Interest in or experience with professional services, executive search, HR, or consulting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-driven, inquisitive, and able to perform well both independently and as part of a distributed team.
