About the Company
The organization is expanding its footprint in Saudi Arabia’s fit-out sector, with work spanning commercial, corporate, and government projects. It is looking for a seasoned business development professional who can accelerate revenue, open new market opportunities, strengthen strategic alliances, and help grow the project pipeline.
Role Overview
This position is focused on winning new business in the fit-out and construction space, maintaining strong industry relationships, and managing the full sales and tendering process through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across the commercial and government segments.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as agreed with management.
- Develop and nurture relationships with consultants, developers, project managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Track and handle government tender activity on platforms such as Etimad, including company registration and qualification on relevant procurement systems.
- Coordinate and lead prequalification efforts and tender submissions.
- Examine tender packs, specifications, drawings, and BOQs, then work with estimating and technical teams to build strong proposals.
- Manage commercial discussions and guide opportunities from initial engagement through award and signing.
- Keep an updated sales pipeline and submit weekly business development updates to leadership.
- Represent the business at networking events, industry gatherings, and client meetings.
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of business development experience in fit-out, interior construction, or general contracting in Saudi Arabia, with a clear history of winning and supporting project delivery. A well-established network across consultants, developers, public sector contacts, and project stakeholders is important. Hands-on exposure to Etimad and public procurement procedures is required. The role also calls for the ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD for drawing review. Strong Arabic and English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
