Catering Assistant

Role overview

Aramark Ireland is hiring a Catering Assistant in Galway, County Galway, Ireland. This is a weekday-only role with working hours from 10:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, offering a strong work-life balance. What you will do

• Prepare and present food items to a good standard.
• Support customers with prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Keep kitchen and service spaces clean and in line with hygiene expectations.
• Back up the kitchen team with routine day-to-day duties.
• Follow food safety rules as well as health and safety procedures.
• Help with stock rotation and basic stock control tasks.

What we are looking for

Experience in catering, hospitality, or customer-facing work is helpful, but it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will bring a positive approach, solid work habits, teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to stay organised under pressure. A flexible mindset and a readiness to assist wherever needed are important for success in this role.
