Role Overview
The organisation is seeking a caring, well-organised, and proactive Centre Head to oversee the everyday functioning of one campus. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being around children, can manage people and processes with maturity, and is committed to keeping the centre safe, cheerful, and running smoothly for children, parents, and staff.
This is a practical leadership position that values ownership, steady presence, and close attention to detail. The person in this role will help bring structure to the campus, support children’s needs, and ensure the team works in a coordinated and effective way.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the campus operations throughout the day, including arrivals, dispersals, assemblies, play periods, daycare routines, classroom transitions, and discipline management.
- Maintain strong standards of child safety, hygiene, wellbeing, and care across the school day, while ensuring classrooms, daycare areas, play spaces, and the wider campus remain tidy, prepared, and secure.
- Serve as the primary contact for parents regarding attendance, health-related updates, school schedules, events, and other requirements, and support admissions from enquiry through campus visits, document collection, follow-ups, and onboarding.
- Coordinate teachers, caretakers, security personnel, transport staff, and other support staff so that routines, responsibilities, and protocols are followed consistently; review punctuality, presentation, communication, and daily performance with professionalism and accountability.
- Keep accurate records covering admissions, attendance, fees, staff information, circulars, calendars, and registers, and manage fee collection, receipts, invoices, petty cash, and basic office tasks.
- Organise monthly planners, circulars, birthdays, special activities, and splash pool days; carry out regular walkthroughs of classrooms and the campus, and share important observations with management.
- Foster a workplace culture built on warmth, teamwork, discipline, ownership, and accountability.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be friendly, approachable, and comfortable working in a child-focused environment. They should be highly structured, detail-conscious, and capable of following through on tasks, solving problems, and communicating calmly and professionally. Basic computer usage, record management, and documentation are important, along with the ability to lead a team with a balance of firmness, kindness, and clarity.
Preferred Experience
Experience in school administration, preschool coordination, or centre management is preferred. Strong English communication skills and basic computer knowledge are expected. A background in early childhood education or school operations will be considered an advantage.
Compensation
The starting salary is ₹25,000 per month and upward, along with the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful role in a growing, child-first organisation.
Additional Note
Applicants who enjoy bringing structure, caring for children, and helping a team perform at its best are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
