About the Organization
Founded in 1863, the International Committee of the Red Cross works to protect human dignity and reduce suffering arising from conflict and armed violence. Role Overview
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst supports the organization’s compensation and benefits centre of expertise by analyzing data, identifying trends, producing forecasts and reports, and helping design, model, monitor, and improve reward programs and related practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare salary scales for the annual review and midyear review by collecting market information from survey providers, organizing the input required for the review, and carrying out initial market analysis and impact assessment.
- Work with salary survey vendors on data delivery and survey outputs, including matching jobs for selected surveys.
- Take an active role in planning and executing the annual salary review cycle.
- Support the review of ASR specifications, the setup of the compensation module, and testing activities such as UAT and PROS, while coordinating with the HRIS team on data and system-related topics.
- Help improve tools and workflows used for annual salary review and salary scale review, along with compensation reporting and monitoring solutions, including modelling and implementation work.
- Assist regional Compensation & Benefits managers with analytical support for compensation projects, including data preparation, quality checks, validation, and analysis.
- Provide guidance to other HR colleagues on foundational compensation and benefits topics.
- Contribute to reward-related initiatives such as grading, mobility, living wage, and pay equity.
- Coordinate the work of remuneration specialists during the annual salary review process.
Requirements
- A university degree in business administration, human resources, or a closely related field.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Access.
- Basic familiarity with HRIS systems and associated data.
- Professional experience of 6 to 9 years.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting the design and delivery of compensation and benefits policies in medium to large multinational organizations.
- Practical understanding of compensation and benefits best practices, including job grading, salary scale design, and total rewards, along with general HR knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.

- Work location: Belgrade Global Hub, Tresnjinog Cveta 1, Belgrade.
- Job level: B3.
