Mavin Construction LLC is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and driven Construction Project Manager to guide internal teams, clients, and vendors through the entire development and construction lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, fostering a collaborative team environment, and upholding high performance standards. The Project Manager will lead project teams to success by establishing a strong team environment, setting clear performance expectations, empowering team members, and diligently overseeing project progress.
The ideal candidate will be a team leader and builder, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous learning and self-improvement. A strong emphasis is placed on building and maintaining positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all phases of project development and construction, ensuring alignment with corporate, client, and project objectives.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Conduct site walk-throughs to define project scope and review definition materials.
- Prepare and present proposals and participate in interviews with potential clients.
- Oversee preliminary budgeting, bid analysis, and project estimating.
- Coordinate and lead design meetings, managing costs and municipal coordination.
- Manage the procurement process, including subcontractor solicitation, negotiation, and award of work.
- Administer and review submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Utilize project management software (e.g., CMiC) for budget setup, input, and submittals.
- Develop and maintain master project schedules, contributing to weekly schedule updates.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.
- Ensure a safe work environment and maintain the highest quality of work.
- Manage all project documentation, including RFIs, PCIs, and Change Orders.
- Oversee invoice approvals, billings, and cost-to-complete analyses.
- Resolve project issues, troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, and proactively problem-solve.
- Manage project closeout procedures, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and punch lists.
- Attend industry events and assist with construction-specific hiring processes.
- Generate approximately $10 Million in annual revenue.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager role.
- Proficiency with industry-specific software for project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff, and BIM.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- This role reports to the Director of Operations or Director of Sales (rotating annually).
- Direct reports include Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
- The Project Manager is accountable for the overall success or failure of a project.
- This position contributes to company culture, organizational health, and knowledge transfer.
