- Join events, shoots, PR moments, and community activities to capture live content for social channels.
- Collaborate with the Social team on calendars, launches, campaigns, and major brand moments.
- Track down rising creators, trends, formats, audio, memes, and online behaviors worth tapping into.
- Contribute to and appear in UGC-style and creator-led content when appropriate.
- Pitch new ideas to strengthen Glossier’s social presence and storytelling approach.
- Work across Brand Marketing, Creative, PR, Influencer, Retail, and Product Marketing to keep content aligned.
- Produce work that feels relatable, emotionally engaging, playful, and culturally relevant while still clearly reflecting Glossier.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong fluency in internet culture, especially across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle spaces.
- Excellent taste and a sharp creative sensibility.
- Comfort appearing on camera from time to time, while primarily working behind it.
- A quick, practical, collaborative working style with a low-ego mindset.
- Interest in testing ideas, learning quickly, and refining based on results.
- Ability to balance premium brand storytelling with the natural behavior of social platforms.
- A clear understanding of what makes content feel genuine rather than overproduced.
- Energy for capturing content in the moment as it unfolds.
Qualifications
- At least 1–3+ years of experience creating social-first content for a brand, agency, publication, or personal channel.
- Solid knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and creator/influencer ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form content independently.
- Comfort using mobile editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, TikTok editing features, Adobe Premiere, and similar apps.
- Strong visual storytelling instincts in beauty, lifestyle, and culture contexts.
- Flexibility to work around events, shoots, launches, and other time-sensitive cultural moments.
- A portfolio is required, including TikTok, Instagram, personal content channels, or examples of brand work.
