Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Content Creator with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. This role is designed for a versatile creative who can manage the entire content lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. We are looking for a hands-on maker capable of ideation, shooting, design, editing, and final output, utilizing appropriate tools to maintain speed and quality. The ideal candidate is social-first, adaptable, and comfortable with varying production levels, from quick mobile content to more polished desktop-produced pieces. Responsibilities include creating video, static, and general digital content for social and digital platforms, excluding UI/UX, website, and app design. Proficiency in using AI tools for ideation, scripting, production planning, and workflow enhancement is also expected.
Role Purpose
This Content Creator position is vital for accounts requiring rapid, adaptable, and high-volume digital content. The role serves as a crucial link between creative concepts and tangible outputs, requiring an individual who can think creatively, execute practically, design clearly, edit efficiently, and deliver final assets with minimal supervision. By integrating social media acumen, production expertise, post-production skills, digital design capabilities, and AI-driven workflows, this role enhances the team's capacity to produce timely, relevant, efficient, and well-crafted content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop content concepts based on briefs, brand requirements, platform dynamics, and audience relevance.
- Translate ideas into concise scripts, engaging captions, detailed shot lists, storyboards, and content schedules.
- Capture video and photographic content featuring people, products, environments, events, or experiences.
- Edit content from initial assembly to final export, incorporating pacing, on-screen text, subtitles, music, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
- Design straightforward static posts, social media assets, digital layouts, and general content for account delivery.
- Prepare and format final assets according to platform, client, and internal specifications.
Social and Digital Content
- Produce content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social content formats, attention-grabbing hooks, pacing, current trends, creator behaviors, and platform-specific expectations.
- Possess a functional knowledge of how algorithms and engagement patterns impact content performance.
- Adapt creative concepts into formats suitable for various platforms without compromising authenticity or appearing overly corporate.
- Support a broad spectrum of digital content needs, excluding UI/UX, website, and app development.
Production and Shooting
- Be available for on-site content capture at various locations, including client premises, retail spaces, attractions, events, or product shoots.
- Apply fundamental production techniques such as lighting, framing, audio recording, composition, product photography, and filming individuals.
- Confidently direct simple on-camera moments, product arrangements, and social-first scenes.
- Engage professionally with clients and stakeholders during shooting sessions as needed.
- Exhibit resourcefulness on location to promptly resolve practical production challenges.
Editing and Post-Production
- Create rapid, low-fidelity edits using mobile-centric tools like CapCut or native platform editing applications.
- Produce more refined edits utilizing desktop software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Incorporate basic motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and platform-specific formatting.
- Understand export settings, file types, aspect ratios, compression techniques, and delivery standards.
- Ensure all final deliverables are polished, correctly formatted, and prepared for client review or publication.
AI-Enabled Workflow
- Leverage AI tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Adobe Firefly, and other accessible AI resources to enhance speed, efficiency, and creative development.
- Utilize AI to assist with brainstorming, copywriting, scriptwriting, storyboarding, content planning, image generation, visual exploration, and overall workflow optimization.
- Proactively identify and employ free or accessible AI tools to boost team productivity and effectiveness.
- Employ AI as a supplementary tool to allocate more time towards strategic creative thinking, meticulous production planning, and elevating output quality.
- Recognize AI as a supportive instrument, not a substitute for creative judgment, taste, and craftsmanship.
Design and Digital Craft
- Possess a practical understanding of graphic design principles as applied to digital and social media content.
- Be capable of creating static posts, story frames, simple carousel sequences, general digital assets, social media layouts, and basic branded materials.
- Understand concepts of layout, visual hierarchy, typography, rhythm, brand consistency, and digital readability.
- Collaborate effectively with creative leads, art directors, designers, and account teams to ensure brand alignment.
- Maintain a high standard of visual quality across both video and static content.
Additional Information
This role is focused on supporting digital and social content requirements across various client accounts. The primary outputs will include Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, social videos, static posts, storyboards, frames, simple carousels, digital display assets, basic animated content, product or people-focused content, event/location-based content, and general daily account content. This position specifically excludes UI/UX design, website design, or app design.
