About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for a Cost Control Specialist to join its Yerevan team. This position focuses on checking task-related financial data, confirming that amounts match approved records, and flagging any mismatches for quick resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review the tasks assigned in Jira and Eve to keep track of financial details.
  • Confirm that every monetary figure mentioned in a task aligns with the approved cost shown in the relevant authorization or finance record.
  • Escalate any variance or inconsistency to the reporting manager or the relevant team without delay.
  • Perform additional duties requested by the direct supervisor, provided they fit the role and comply with labor regulations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another closely related discipline.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or project management.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Russian language knowledge will be considered an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • High precision and a careful approach when checking financial and task-related information.
  • Hands-on experience with project or task tracking tools such as Jira, Eve, or similar systems.
