Role overview

This role is for an engineering leader who will help keep data center operations running smoothly and efficiently. The position focuses on mission-critical infrastructure, technical problem-solving, and ensuring dependable service for customers through strong operational leadership.

What you will do

Lead shift technicians, contractors, and vendors to maintain strong operational standards.
Coordinate work across multiple data center availability zones and guide infrastructure planning.
Build and run project plans that improve facility efficiency and overall performance.
Manage essential systems such as power distribution, generators, cooling equipment, and monitoring tools.
Assist with facility growth and infrastructure expansion initiatives.

Day-to-day environment

The work combines strategic planning, direct technical oversight, and team leadership. You will partner with cross-functional groups, solve problems proactively, optimize systems, and help create reliable solutions that keep critical infrastructure operating without disruption.

Team and culture

You will join a collaborative infrastructure organization responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global data center services. The team works on complex challenges involving servers, storage, networking, power, cooling, and supply chain coordination. Qualifications and hiring notes

Applicants should bring people management experience, team development experience, and engineering experience related to large-scale services. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Preference is given to candidates who have managed five or more direct reports and have worked in data centers with responsibility for building and equipment operations.
