About the Program

SAP Fioneer is inviting recent graduates to join its L.I.F.T. Graduate Program, designed to help emerging talent build a career in financial services technology. The program combines the scale and stability of a global software company with the agility, ownership, and pace of a fast-growing startup-like environment.

From the outset, participants work on meaningful assignments and contribute to real projects. Depending on the assignment, the role may involve client-facing work or product development. The company places strong emphasis on learning, development, and becoming productive quickly while still having space to grow.

This opportunity is based in Germany and offers both on-site and remote working options.

What You Will Do

You will start in a practical product development setting and help financial services organizations improve speed, scalability, and efficiency through digital innovation, cloud-based technology, and end-to-end solutions for banking and insurance processes.

Early responsibilities may include supporting product development activities, collaborating with internal teams or clients, and contributing to solutions that deliver real business value.

Requirements

The role is intended for graduates with a relevant academic background and strong technical curiosity. A degree in one of the following areas is expected: Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering. An interest in consulting and in working with financial services providers is also important.

Applicants should bring hands-on experience gained through university projects or work in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or ABAP. Experience with databases, data modeling, and SQL-based querying is required.

Familiarity with modern development tools and technologies is a plus, including tools such as Eclipse or VS Code, formats and services like JSON and REST APIs, and front-end frameworks such as React or UI5.

Additional strengths include analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, logical reasoning, and clear communication with both clients and teams. The ideal candidate is ambitious, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with an entrepreneurial mindset.
