Role overview
underscore works is hiring a Digital Content Manager for its Nashville, TN office. This full-time position is focused on building and running social-led content strategies, producing platform-specific creative, and supporting influencer and partner collaborations.
What you'll do
- Plan, maintain, and run social media content schedules across several accounts.
- Join conversations and trends that are relevant to the audience and brand.
- Study audience behavior to help grow traffic, engagement, and awareness.
- Create content for social channels, including short videos, graphics, and stories.
- Draft clear, persuasive copy that matches each brand voice for posts, captions, and campaigns.
- Support the creation of creative briefs for creators, influencers, and internal teams.
- Identify suitable creators and influencers for partnership opportunities.
- Handle outreach and help coordinate influencer collaborations.
- Build and maintain relationships with artists, brands, and content partners.
- Compile performance reports covering social metrics, trends, and campaign results.
- Apply data insights to improve strategy and increase engagement.
- Help manage approvals, production assets, and deadlines with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with project leads on different social media initiatives.
- Make sure every piece of content supports the brand and campaign objectives.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in music, social media marketing, content creation, or digital strategy.
- Hands-on knowledge of major social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, and Snapchat.
- Comfort using analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, and Google Analytics.
- Strong writing and storytelling ability, backed by prior work samples or experience.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and project management skills.
- Ability to read performance data and suggest practical strategic changes.
- Good verbal communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Strong DSLR or mirrorless camera shooting skills, with studio and field production experience.
- Experience creating creator-style or influencer-led content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; basic After Effects knowledge is preferred but appears incomplete in the source.
