Role overview
MINISO USA is hiring a District Manager to oversee a cluster of stores within a defined region. This position focuses on running stores efficiently, improving sales and profitability, and building a team culture that matches the company’s values. The role also includes coaching Store Managers so they can deliver strong customer experiences, maintain presentation standards, and improve team output.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise a district of 8 to 16 stores and make sure operational and visual expectations are consistently followed. In larger districts, an Area Manager may provide additional support.
- Increase sales and profit through thoughtful planning, strong execution, and team engagement.
- Review financial results and KPI data to spot patterns, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Hire, train, develop, and retain strong Store Managers and Area Managers where relevant, while helping build future leaders for continued growth.
- Visit stores regularly to evaluate performance, coach teams, and confirm compliance with company standards.
- Ensure every store delivers a reliable and high-quality customer service experience in line with MINISO expectations.
- Apply and enforce company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Oversee the rollout of merchandising, marketing, and promotional programs across the district.
- Work closely with corporate and regional leaders to align district priorities with broader company goals.
- Promote loss prevention practices and help reduce shrink across all locations.
Candidate profile
- Ability to lead, motivate, and influence large teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong commercial understanding, including P&L ownership and labor cost management.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- High standards of integrity, initiative, and focus on results.
- Willingness to travel often within the assigned district.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a similar field is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in multi-unit retail leadership; background in specialty or value retail is preferred.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is USD 72,100 to USD 90,000.
